Christmas with the Peters Family

Emma met Santa for the first time Christmas Eve, she cried the first time, but then just stared the 2nd time we sat her on his lap. Emma got spoiled with a ton of new toys from the Peters, Abed, and Banta famalies.

Sledding

Emma went sledding for the first time this week after 14 inches of snow fell.

Emma is starting to climb up on toys/furniture, trying really hard to crawl, and using a sippy cup. She's growing so fast!

Trip to D.C.

We spent Halloween in D.C. visiting our friends Dave and Shawna and their kids Zachary and Elise. It was Emma's first plane ride, she did great!

Crawling Backwards - Oops!

Emma has mastered crawling backwards, she got stuck in Eddy's bed and couldn't figure out how to go forward - such a cutie!

7 Months Old and Having Fun

Emma is getting so big, can't believe she's 7 months already.

Laundry Basket Rides

Grandpa Tony took Emma for a ride in a laundry basket Saturday morning and now she loves it! Charmin Bear even got to go for ride.

Aimee bought me 2 pairs of suede boots. Super cute!

Weekend Fun

Emma is trying hard to crawl. She's so close. We are trying new foods these days, mashed potatoes were not a hit - yucky!

Family Visit

Aunt Mary and Cousin Aimee came from Connecticut to meet Emma. Nana and Papa and Aunt Jan and Cousin Taylor came too. Papa brought Emma's new highchair, it's absolutely beautiful - handmade cherry.

Puffs Head

Emma thought it was funny to have the empty box of Puffs on her head.

Playing in the Grass

Toes!

Emma has found her toes, ears, and belly recently but she has the most fun playing with her toes. She's so cute - I'm going to miss spending every day with her.

Emma is starting to hold her own bottle - we've been teaching her to look at the bottle when finished instead of crying for more.

Emma is definetely ready to start solids in the next month, she wants to eat everything that we eat. She was very interested in my Raisin Bran this morning.

Ball with Eddy

Emma is fascinated by our dog Edison. She loves to watch him play ball, it actually calms her down when she's fussy -imagine that. She can now hold the ball thrower with a little help from daddy,

And the Winner Is

Emma helped daddy play cribbage against mommy. Mommy won. Emma picked the wrong cards but sure thought they tasted good, everything goes in the mouth these days.

Mirror on the Wall

Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the cutest baby of all, it's Emma! OK, so we're a little biased, but Emma had a great time practicing her sit up skills and playing in the mirror this morning.

Double Fisted

Ema had fun playing with both her rattles today. Her coordination is getting really good, although she is a little better with her left hand, maybe she'll be a lefty like mommy.
