Furry things with tails

Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's house brought a new little furry surprise to our family and no it wasn't the cat that Steve and Greg have been trying to pass off to us because Emma likes kitties.  However Uncle Steve and Uncle Greg did find this cool new monkey hat for Emma.  Daddy even tried to talk Emma out of it but Emma said "no way Daddy"

Painting Nails

Emma likes to get her fingers and toes painted, only if she agrees not to put her fingers in her mouth. She was too cute waiting for them to dry. She also thought it was funny that her tongue was purple from eating part of a candy cane that was on the tree.

Painting Ornaments

Emma painted Christmas ornaments for her grandparents, a new tradition we plan to do each year. Notice her tongue on the bottom picture, always sticking out when she's concentrating, like mother like daughter! Mommy does it all the time.

Wuzzles from Aimee

Emma got wuzzles from cousin Aimee for Christmas, she and Nana stuffed them and she named the puppy spot and the Unicorn is named Spring, she even filled out their birth certificates.

Christmas Fun

When Ryan pulled out the stockings, Emma thought it went on her foot, silly kid. She is also fascinated with the blow up Christmas decorations around the neighborhood so daddy surprised her with a Frosty in the living room (he will go outside when it's not raining), she has been hugging and kissing Frosty non-stop, too cute!

Halloween Princess

Halloween 2011 was a blast...Emma was big into Halloween this year. She did a great job going all the way up and down the whole block and made sure to say Trick or Treat and Thank You at each house we visited. We ran into her friend Hopers from school and had fun running to and from the houses with Nana and Papa.

Big Girl Bed

First Night in the Big Girl Bed. Doesn't she look cute!!! Daddy discovered that a 2 year old doesn't provide the best quality control. After Emma helped me put it together we discovered that the front support bar was upside down making the mattress supports higher in the front. The issue was quickly fixed and as you can see Emma is loving the new bed.

My first wedding

Miss Lindsey from daycare got married, I had a blast dancing at the party with my friends.

Book Party

Emma helped mommy pack her bag for her overnight trip to Grandma's, helped daddy remove a large shrub (did more supervising then helping) and mommy and Emma had a book party with all of her "friends" on Friday. She read books and sang songs to her friends.
