Summer Flowers

Emma decided that she wanted to pick some flowers so we made a nice arrangement for her room.

More Pool time

Emma let daddy put her hair in an UP do today, it was sooo cute, I was impressed Ryan did such a good job, normally she only allows a low pony tail or a headband, there's hope yet I'll get to play with her beautiful hair. 

First Dance Class

Swimming with Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa came down to hang with Emma so Ryan could play soccer.  Emma had a blast playing in her new pool with Grandpa.

Cloud dough

We mixed 7 cups of flour and 1 cup of baby oil to make cloud dough, Emma played with it for over 2 hours on Monday, she made pancakes, looked for buried treasures, got undressed and gave herself a "bath" this was kind of funny, and lots more inventive ways to play with the dough. 

New Swimming Pool

Emma got a new pool this week, no more baby pool.  It took a few minutes for her to feel comfortable but then she had a blast. She loved cleaning the bugs out of the pool with the net and Ryan got her to kneel down for the first time

Strawberry Picking

Erb Pool

Checked out Erb Pool today, we really liked it since it's the only pool in appleton they allow floaties, although our big girl decided part way through she didn't need it anymore, we were so proud of her.

Scooping Watermelon

Emma helped us scoop out the watermelon this weekend, we didn't have a melon ball so a cookie scoop worked just fine, little big for her little hands but she did great!

Sibling class

Emma attended sibling class a few weeks back to learn about our new baby coming soon. She learned to change diapers, swaddle, and hold the baby and got to see the labor and delivery floor. The best part was the instructor told Ryan to change the diapers assuming being a guy he didn't know how and Ryan looked at her and told her he invented several parts of the diaper she was holding, she didn't know what to say, pretty funny.

Heckrodt nature preserve

We went on a nature hike today, we saw baby bunnies, squirrels, a TURKEY, and lots of other fun things. Emma made it almost the whole 1/2 mile hike and had a blast playing in the kids area.
