Our friends Logan and Mia sent us an Elf on the Shelf, Emma named her Abby, her first mischief involved drinking some hot cocoa.

Dress Up

Felt Christmas tree

I have always wanted a felt christmas tree for the girls to decorate, I finally found one at target this year, I have thought about making one but the time to make the ornaments seems unreasonable to me, so I was very happy to purchase one.  The girls had fun decorating and undecorating the tree, it was nice to see them playing together

Visit with Santa

P&G had it's kids holiday party today, the girls got to see Santa, Emma was thrilled, Lauren not so much

We got rid of a HUGE cabinet in Lauren's room and got her some toy shelves, she LOVES it

Future Lauren Elizabeth "Taylor"

while reading Emma books tonight, Lauren got into Emma's jewelry, by the time we were done she had every single necklace around her neck, hopefully we do not have  an "Elizabeth Taylor" on our hands we'll be broke.

Yogurt - Before and After

Lauren likes to feed herself, she doesn't want any help, she's very independent, definetely a 2nd child.  here are the before and after of this morning's apple sweet potato yogurt. She looks like she painted her face for a football game.

Fine Motor Skills

Lauren loves to dump and pour stuff and so I googled ideas for fine motor skills and came up with this. she took pieces of straw and put them from the cup into the waterbottle and then dumped back out, she thought it was super cool, she and I played for about 30 minutes today while Emma was still napping, it was a great quiet activity

Halloween

It was pouring rain for halloween this year so we only went to a few houses, we have a really cute video of Lauren we'll post later

Reading in Bed

I was resting today as usual and Lauren wanted "UP, UP" so we read our favorite box of books, I left for a few minutes and came back to find her reading in bed by herself, she even layed herself down and got comfy - it was way too cute

Bed head

Lauren only napped for an hour in her crib today and then decided she needed to sleep on me for another 45 minutes, she woke up with quite the bed head

Trunk or Treating

We took the girls to a church for trunk or treat, (candy out of the trunk of cars)

While I was loading the car getting ready for zoo boo Lauren wanted to play with both pails, too cute, she held onto the orange one the entire car ride to daycare and got mad when I took it away
