Basement re-design

I wanted to make the basement more funtional for the girls to play so Ryan and I re-designed where we had the play areas and big furniture the before picture looks really messy (we threw all the toys in the middle and started fresh), the afters look really great and Emma was so thrilled when she came home from daycare.

It was finally warm enough last weekend to hit the pool, Lauren liked playing with the water bottle more than the actual water

The girls had a blast "shaking" up the chex mix before it went in the oven, both were giggling

Reading with Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa came to help while Ryan had soccer this week, Lauren and Grandpa did bedtime together, she loved the books so much she fell right asleep

Blackberries!

Both of the girls LOVE blackberries and we have a huge bush outside our patio door, Emma couldn't pick them fast enough for Lauren so she started picking her own tonight and Emma was feeding her and then she had some more for dinner, Love the messy face

Run/Walk

Emma ran in th P&G run/walk last weekend, she and Lauren had fun stretching and warming up before the race too!

Summer Fun

I'm a little behind on posting, we've been busy this summer having so much fun.  Here are some pictures from a water event the library hosted, Lauren had a blast as did Emma. the next day we set up our own water stations at home and the girls played for hours.
