a high bilirubin level caused by the break-down of red
blood cells. Nothing dangerous but the hospital sent us
home with a Bilibed for Emma to sleep on for the night
that will help break down the bilirubin. She'll get re-checked
Friday at her pediatrician follow-up.
She gets to wear little baby scrubs while in the machine that
keep her centered on the light. It's been hard since she has to
spend as much time in the bed as possible so mom and dad have
been limited to holding Emma during feedings and diaper changes.
Emma is beautiful! I remember when our daughter wore the glow worm blanket. Cherish every day because before you know it, they're 11 and start getting attitudes. :)
