D day

D day is here, kind of was like D day at our house.  Nana and Papa were visiting which was super helpful since Lauren got shots in the morning and ended up crying a good part of the day.  Emma and Nana wrote a 2 page list of all the D words they thought of during the day, they went to the park in the morning and then played pretend school (All DAY, poor Nana)  Emma and Papa painted blocks for Lauren and made a birdhouse as a craft project, this was a multi day project. After rest time Emma and I went and Donated food to the humane society, I was so proud of her, she got to pet a kitty while there since there will NEVER be any cats in our house. Lastly we played with big chalkboard dice that I made for her out of mail boxes and chalkboard paint. I wrote action words on one die and directions on the other (examples: run, jump, backward, on 1 foot, etc) these were fun and can be changed since they are chalk at any time. Our D activity of the day was to dance.
