N = Nursery Rhymes

Our theme for today was nursery rhymes, I made some nursery rhyme props (humpty, 5 frogs on a log, twinkle star, morning bells are ringing, teapot, pick up sticks, etc)  We read books and used the props, she even found a sheep and made one of her dolls Little bo peep who lost her sheep.  she had the most fun with "I'm a little teapot" we ended up have a 90 minute tea party in the morning, we almost missed dance class because we were having so much fun.  We made a Name necklace and did a nut tasting during our tea party.  Lastly we did a brown bear brown bear matching activity on the fridge, match the animal to the name/color of the animal card (working on site words).  Lauren joined in the fun of the tea party playing with the itsy bitsy spider (and spider from Miss Muffet) and had some tea with us and shook the morning bells. I also asked Emma if she wanted to do something Nice for our Neighbors and her response was we should make cookies for Sam and Jake, so we made some oatmeal M&M cookies and took them to our neighbors when they got off the bus.
