Emma talking to Eddy

Emma is talking a lot these days, new words everyday. In this video, Emma is telling our dog Eddy to go into his puppy bed, play with puppy balls and in the beginning she is calling him Bubba, Ryan occcasionally calls the dog Bubba and Emma has picked up on it this weekend. Super cute. They are chatting while playing puzzles.

Minestrone soup

Ryan was traveling again so Emma helped me make minestone soup, she poured the broth, put in the tomatoes, spinach, beans, pasta, onions, carrots, celery and spices. She was so proud of herself.

Apple Picking

Play doh

I made Emma some play doh from scratch in case she decided to eat it, plus it's super easy and cheap. She played for an entire hour the first time I gave it to her, this never happens with an 18 month old. Ryan helped her made a play doh ice cream cone, we rolled out "cookie hearts", made balls and of course worked on learning our colors.

Cleaning Lady

Emma is a big fan of the Swiffer - we do use alot of P&G products at our house despite several of Kristin's co-workers frowning upon our use of Huggies diapers and wipes, we need to support both companies, plus the wipes are more durable. The extended handle is super fun!

Labor Day with Uncle Matt

We had a great visit with Uncle Matt over Labor Day, Emma sees him about 4x a year and she instantly falls in love. He has such a blast with her, she won't go anywhere without him. We visited the NEW Zoo, a new playground and spent time with Grandma and Grandpa, went to the park and read our new Spooky Wheels on the Bus book a zillion times. She kept saying Baaa, Baaa at the zoo and was very surpised when the sheep said Baaa back very loudly:)

Cuddles

Emma has a blast playing with her new Elmo that Miss Lindsey brought her, she was chilling watching Sesame Street on Friday, dancing with Elmo, and then decided her cow needed sunglasses, funny girl.
