Grandpa painted Emma's new big girl room grape glimmer while she and daddy were away visiting family this weekend. She was so excited when she got home she didn't leave the room for hours, she kept dancing around yelling "my purple room" can't imagine how excited she'll be when she gets a new bed next month.
Emma came from a sleepovers at grandma's and told us she wanted to have a birthday party, so we put ponies in our hair (yes daddy too) and put on our best jewelry and sang Happy Birthday, then she got a graham cracker with peanut butter and sprinkles for a cake. We then went outside and looked for twiddlebugs and birdies with our binoculars, even while taking a ride in our swing
I took Emma to Kidzcity on one our Fridays girls day outs. they had 6 play rooms, she got to dig in the dirt, play store, dress up like a princess, go down a big slide and draw on the chalk wall. 
Emma has been doing FABULOUS with potty training. She only had 3 accidents all week, 2 of them at the very end of the day at school (we think she got nervous to ask the teachers, she moves rooms at the end) and one at home but otherwise doing so great, We are so proud of her. she even went on the big potties at 3 parks over the weekend (even a gross portable potty at the dog park). Every time she gets dressed she lays all of her undie choices out and thinks very carefully about her choice for the day, it's pretty cute and then we talk about how princesses or Minnie don't want to get wet that day. 
Emma and I are on a mission to discover the best parks in the Fox Valley so far memorial park is great and today we visited Fritse park in neenah and it might just be our #1 right now. Emma loved playing on the bridge and throwing stones in the water and seeing a man catching perch off the dock. the playground is also brand new and lots of fun. After nap we played in the water table and make a firework art project with plastic bag painting and glitter.
